Compliance Specialist

Job Summary:

Our client, a real estate firm, is seeking an experienced Compliance Specialist of Section 8 and low income housing.

Job Responsibilities:
Verify income, determine eligibility.
Process recertifications, complying with regulatory agreement, responding to government agencies and maintaining complete and current files in accordance with requirements.
Interview applicants to determine housing needs and eligibility. Schedule recertifications, collect recertification information, including income and household changes.
Calculate new Total Tenant Payments (TTP) and HAP payments for recertification.

Job Requirements:
You must have thorough knowledge of affordable housing programs’ recertification process (HUD and LIHTC).
Strong computer skills in MS Office and Yardi preferred.
Min. of 2 years of work experience in compliance and recertification.
AA, BA, BS a plus.
