Vice President of Distressed Property
at Private Equity firm in New York City, New York
Description: Our client, Private Equity Firm seeks a Vice president for their Distressed Real Estate practice.
Responsibilities:
Real estate transaction restructuring including negotiating with lenders, joint venture partners and other deal constituents to work-out distressed situations to favorable outcomes
Sourcing and managing distressed real estate/debt transactions
Capital raising of equity and debt for real estate transactions
Working across organizational lines and cross selling the firm's capabilities to maximize revenue opportunities to the organization
Structuring and closing highly structured real estate transactions, including cash-flow producing, value-add, repositioning, development projects, and preferred equity positions
Requirements:
BA, BS in Finance or related disciplines is required; Masters Degree preferred
Minimum of 10 years of Banking, Consulting, or Capital Markets experience
Real Estate Industry skills are a must
Preference is given to someone from a top restructuring advisory group, workout group or from Business Recovery Services
