Senior Technical Trainer
The Senior Technical Trainer and Instructor coordinates and assists with programs for education, orientation and focused workshop development for all departmental staff. This role is directly responsible for implementing, maintaining and enhancing of training sessions for simple to complex applications and interactive e-learning solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively delivers technical training sessions using a variety of methodologies for all departments.
- Responsible for developing new and on gonging training and instruction.
- Gathers requirements and develops those requirements into effective training products using modern methodologies, techniques and appropriate delivery media.
- Responsible for the development of training materials and sessions which include instructor programs, job aids, e-learning, brown bags and classroom.
- Markets the training programs to the department, field units and Managements
- Develop processes used to record, update and track trainings.
- Manages and coordinates the training calendars.
- Design and develop new on line course curriculum and training to be used across the enterprise.
- Provide effective technical instruction with experience in curriculum development and implementation experience.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Business Administration, Information Systems or a related field.
- At least 3 years as a dedicated technical instructor or trainer in a corporate/professional environment
- At least 3 years experience in technical support, programming, systems analysis or other technical capacity is required.
- Experienced in designing, managing and implementing small to large instructor led courses.
- Ability to learn and become subject matter expert for current/new products and other knowledge specific to the department function.
- Thorough knowledge of training and user support methodologies
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including strong presentation skills.
- A passion for teaching and supporting others is necessary.
- Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated flexibility to handle multiple deadlines in a timely manner.
- Expertise with Microsoft Office products is necessary.
- Previous hands on experience or expertise with products such as but not limited to Microsoft Server, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, Oracle, Cisco, Norton, and EMC.

- Microsoft Certified (MCP, MCT or MCSE)
- CompTia Certified
